With a 6 month rental lease are tenants rewuired to leave on final lease date? & do I have to file 30 day or have an attorney send a letyer saying not renewable? We have two girls uostairs sep lease one is behind for several months now we wish them to move by feb 26 the funal date of leas 626393_2583

It depends on the terms of the rental agreement. Many rental agreements convert to month-to-month at the end of the lease. Others are silent, and by implication become month-to-month if not expressly terminated. So your best bet is to give at least 30-days notice that the lease will not be renewed and will not convert to month-to-month. Unless you are in a city that has a "just cause only" rental termination ordinance, that should be sufficient to terminate the leasehold on the end date of the lease. You can also evict the one who has not paid immediately by following standard eviction proceedures.
