Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

2 months ago the locks were changed on my mobile home. I was not present at the time of the lock out and I am the owner. The manager assumed someone was staying there but had never been inside to verify her assumption so she filed a false report obtaining a court order to be served. The sheriff delivered the paperwork, the maintenace person broke the window, change the locks the sheriff went in and no one was inside. I am the owner and was not present when this happen. I was instructed my the manager to talk to the complex attorney, He said the only way i get my keys back was pay 2700.00, I refuse and 2 months later I get a surprise phone call from the attorneys office saying come p/u the keys. Can i sue for this illegal lockout

Why did they want to get inside the mobile home? How long had no one been living in it? Waht did they propose to do once they got inside? It does seem that you have a good case, especially if the management lied to the court. You need to find out the answers to the questions I posed and then see an attorney to see how much the case is worth.
