Can my ex keep everything?

i am a 23 yr old female & i have lived with my girlfriend for about 4 yrs. she was the main scource of income. I have been trying to move out but she refuses to give me any of my clothes, pictures, etc. because she bought them for me. Now all i have are the clothes on my back! what can i do?

If they were a gift, they're yours. Is it initially more important to reclaim your sanity or your possessions? I would suggest moving out and then deciding on whether to take legal action to obtain your possessions or at least their value.
