Apartment Deposit Reconcilliation

Is it legal to deduct from my deposit for normal carpet cleaning, blinds cleaning, and painting after moving out of an apartment?

Landlord responsible for ordinary wear and tear!!!

You are responsible for damage caused by you, those who live with you (if you are not alone), and invited "guests".
