Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
The apartment manager in my building is allowing other tenants to park behind my parking lot rendering my spot unusable (I can't get my car in or out.) What is my recourse? May I deduct from my rent for days I can't use my spot? I live in Encino CA, part of L.A. county.
Thanks
Chris

In what way is he allowing people to park there? Most people would not park behind another vehicle. If he will not prevent it, contact the owner. Tell them that part of your rent is for the parking space, they are in breach of that agreement, you damages are geater because
of your inability to use your car and unless it stops immediately you would have no choice but to move out and file suit.
