Re: apartment maneger

You state that the landlord told another tenant untrue statements about another tenant. Where do you fit into this? I will assume that when you said "another tenant" you were referring to yourself. If the landlord told a tenant in your building untrue statements about you, then he may have slandered you, however, filing a lawsuit is pointless unless you can prove damages. Generally, you will need to be able to prove some sort of economic damages before anyone will even touch the lawsuit on your behalf. Slander is a hard case to win, so I would suggest that you contact a local personal injury or consumer attorney to discuss the matter further.
