My apartment has recently been burglarized in a building with minimal security. What are my rights?

Unless the landlord has been notified of a particular deficiency in security for the building AND that the deficiency has created the risk of a burglary, AND after reasonable opportunity the landlord failed and refused to correct the deficiency, your rights are: make a police report and wish you had bought renters insurance like your lease probably told you to.
