Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I was arrested at my apartment by my x room mate. while in jail my apartment was robbed and vandelized by my e roomate. The DA never filed my case recognising it was my x rommates motive for robbing and vandelizing my apartment. now my landloard is trying to evict me for being a nuisance as when police came to arrest me they came in several car and withdrew there guns as my x room mate said i had sexually assulted her. Is this shit legal is there some laws protecting a victim of a crime being evicted

First, you were not arrested by your former roommate. Your former roommate may have called the police and alleged that you did something illegal, but the police are the only ones who can arrest you. Second, your landlord may have the right to evict you based upon a few differnt theories, including nuisance, violation of other tenants' right of peaceful and quiet enjoyment of their units, and if you have written rules, for violation of the complex rules. No, there are no rules which protect you as the victim of a robbery from being evicted.
