Back rent owed in California
2 people on a rental agreement. It does not state how much each is to pay each month.. When back rent is owed can each be required to pay their share or is only one person required to pay?

if nothing is stated in the rent agreement, then both of them are jointly liable to pay the rent. They have joint liability towards the landlord
