Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I am a Barbershop owner on a month to month agreement for a commercial rental. My landlord said if I rent out a booth to an independent contractor in my industry he will raise the rent $150 (it's $350 normally) a month and retroactive prior if its mid month. Is this legal?
