Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

black mold growing from one room to another

for the 2nd time in less than a year, I have black mold

growing in my bedroom.

It has now covered over 50% of the bedroom and is

cropping up in the living room to the point where I am

almost sleeping on the patio. I have contacted the building's management office, Section 8's Housing Authority, L A County's

Environmental Health Services and Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

I am frequently getting headaches and constantly coughing up globs of phlem. Section 8 reccommended relocation but they know I can not afford to move. Can anyone help?

Mold can be hazardous to your health and the health of children if you have any. You need to seek medical attention. If the illness is due to the mold and the landlord has failed to act or if it is due to a design defect, you could get compensation for your injuries. You may contact me if you want a free consultation on this issue.
