Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have my boyfriend sister that won't move out. Nothing was written in writing that we gave her 2 months to stay and then leave after that I gave her 30 day notice to move out. She has nothing is my house that belongs to her and she won't leave. She said by law since her mail comes to my house she is a legal resident there and doesn't have to leave?

If she refuses to leave you would have to file an unlawful detainer lawsuit against her, where you can present evidence to the court that she was merely a guest.
