Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Trying to break my lease and property management is asking for $200 to advertise. After how long of advertising until I can move out if no one has rented the place?

You can move out whenever you want, but no matter when you move out, you will be responsible for the rent and the costs of re-renting the property until a new tenant moves in, or the lease would have been up, as long as the owner's agents act reasonably diligently to find a new tenant.
