Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
my brother moved a girl into my mons house awhile ago. My mon has since past, and we want her out.
she is a squatter. She pays no rent, the neighbors are tired of hearing her yell all hours of the night. She has brought cats onto the premises without permissiobn and they have just multiplied over and over. She has distroyed property breaking car windows, pouring cat fieces everywhere, sends threatening texts to people in the household, my brother boss etc. Very disrespectiful. Can we give her a three day quit notice? She is so revengeful im thinking we should get a restraining order for fear she will destroy something. We gave her notice by text and verbal about getting rid of the cats and nothing was done so we took some of them to the shelter and in retaliation she smeared there dirty cat box all over and went and got the cats back for spite. She sends filthy texts messages daily WE are just done with her. She has also crawled thru wibndows to get into our motor home. What do i have to do

It sounds like you need to go the full-blown civil harassment restraining order route. Your local court probably has a civil harassment self help office. If not, you can find more information on courts.ca.gov
