Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
When my brother was served a 3day pay or quit for rent, he used my name as the person served. I do not live at my brothers residence. The attorney and landlord has since included me in the unlawful detainer as well as collections that shows up on my credit report. I only found out about the unlawful detainer by running my credit. What can I do to remove the unlawful detainer from my credit, and can I hold the attorney/landlord/brother legally accountable?

Well you could try to set it aside, otherwise, you could probably sue your brother but don't know how successful you'll be.
