Can California Landlord Force Section 8 Tenant Pay Housing Agency's Unpaid Share of Rent?

You have to look at the terms of the lease. I believe that Section 8 agrees to pay a certain percentage of the rent to the landlord on your behalf and not that it has a separate agreement with the landlord as to it paying itself part of the rent. Contact section 8 to be sure.
