Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
in california. if you are a tenant in an apt complex and you are assigned a parking spot... can the landlord have your car towed for not ever moving the car if it is in the spot they assigned to you? especially if the car is broken down?

You need to review your lease, and the apartment complex rules and regulations. I can almost guarantee that the complex rules state that you cannot keep a non-operating vehicle within the project and that is why they towed it.
