Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

car loan to nanny

I loaned my nanny $15,000.00 to

buy a car that she picked out and

agreed to pay me back in payments

of $500.00 a month. Now she has

moved and I don't know if she still

has the car and she has never given

me the pink slip. She has paid

$5,000.00 in payments over the last

3 years but has been behind. We did

write up a contract which we both

signed.

Re: car loan to nanny

You can find a local attorney who does collection work, which is what I would do.

you can also send it to a local collection agency, but they will take up to 50% of what they collect.

I would not handle it myself, if I were you.
