Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

commercial lease obligation

My wife signed a lease extension, on a building for my business, against my wishes. The lease extension was to be signed by me, an individual, yet she signed her name to it and the landlord accepted it without consulting me. All previous leases also named me, an individual only and no one else. Is the lease extension binding without my signature? The landlord has moved in a tenant who's business is detrimental to mine, and doesn't care.
