Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Confidentiality and Slander

Hi

I am 29, male & single with good social status and eduaction and an absolutely clear record. I've been in a lease agreement for 18 months now. To make it short and simple, my landlord has been giving wrongful and truthfull personal information about me to my family members and my girfriend, I didn't want them to know all this information about me and my previous relationship. She has created a lot of difficulties for me. I want wirte a letter and ask her not to do this in the first step. What should I tell her in the letter? Does she owe me any duty not to share these info with anyone?

Re: Confidentiality and Slander

Have a lawyer do it. My fee for writing a letter like this is $400. If you use me, I will cite privacy laws and your possible causes of action so that there will be a credible deterrent.

Best,
