Construction during Weekends

Live in LA, CA in a apartment (rent controled). Have a new owner that is trying his best to get all old tenants out of he building (same old story).

New owner is doing construction during the weekends and after hours which is very loud at times.

At what days and times can he do construction? I thought it was only MON - FRI between 8.00 am- 5.00 pm?

It depends on the local noise ordinances.
