Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Our current tenant forged a fake rental agreement with a false renters name on it in an attempt to get Electric service turned back on because they lost their power for non payment. They forged my signature and put a different contact phone number on it. Do I have any legal recourse for this action?

Probably not. You have not been harmed by the forgery. He has not tried to use it as showing any rights against you. All you can really do is contact PG&E and report what he is doing.
