Are the three days in a ''Three Day Notice to Pay or Quit'' - three business days or three calendar days in California?

Three calendar days, however, the three days starts on the day after the notice was legally served, and if the third day lands on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, then the third day is pushed to the first following business day. Also be aware that it must be properly served - for more information, see Code of Civil Procedure � 1162.
