how many days do i have before the sherrif comes with notice to move out after i ent to court and lost the case for eviction.

It depends how quickly the landlord's attorney can get the paperwork to the sheriff. Assuming a day or two, in Los Angeles, the sheriff might post notice in a week or two, and eviction would probably take place the following week.

But the landlord can not do anything until an actual judgment of possession has issued; if you feel the judgment of eviction was legally wrong, you can appeal. You can also work out with the landlord a mutually convenient date to move out by so as to reduce the stress of uncertanity.
