Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Deposit

The apartment that I have been living in since Dec. 2003 has been foreclosed. We tenants have been paying rent and he has not been paying the mortgage. We tenants have received a notice to vacate and now we have 30 days to move. Since I have been there almost four years, should I be able to get 60 days to move.? Does the owner have to give us our deposit back since this is no fault of ours?
