deposti to hold unit not returned. hud funding building?
I provided an senior apt complex an $25.00 background chech check and a $100.00 deposit on an apt last summer. I live in another state from the apt and because of the distance & the crime of an elderly person I decided against moving there. They kept my $100.00 deposit , can i force them to return it bu contacting HUD?

It depends on the agreement you signed. Usually, deposits are not refundable, bnut it depends on the agreement that you signed.
