Electricity & Commercial Leasing

Hi i leased a unit from grubber-ellis for commercial purposes and i was wondering if there were any laws or codes that say that an electric permit and inspection from department of building and safety must have occurred before leasing a place?

I apologize, however, our firm has a conflict of interest with respect to the landlord you discuss in your email, and therefore we cannot provide any information regarding your question. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience, however, I am required to abstain from discussing this matter due to the conflict.

There are none statewide.

Check with your local building inspectors. They should be able to help you.
