Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

entry of judgment.....

when exactly is a judgment entered? the day of trial when your honor says..''judgment is for def etc.. & court directs def. to prepare judgment, OR ,is it the day the court (finally after the 3rd attempt on my part)''stamps'' the document F I L E D w/ the date? which of those is entered? thank you !

When it's actually ENTERED in the register, usually the same day it's stamped FILED.
