Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Was evicted from marina and boat sank without proper process

Almost 2 yrs ago I bought boat and the previous owner owed money on the slip rent so I agreed to pay back due off in installments with mine.

I paid one month and second month was little short so tried to see marina owner I made appt and he was no show went down to his office 5 times looking for him.

Late that nite he was in bar when I walked down to get pepsi and I was gonna tell him about rent situation. I had my slip rent but did not have the extra for past owner of boat i agreed to pay. He immediately got beligerant and started yelling at me. Told me if was not his bar would kick my ass and I was not gonna fuck him like other owner of boat and he should just turn me loose in channel.

About 45 mins later 3 men came down from bar and told me he sent them to turn me loose in channel. I explained that I had both motors being worked on and that had no power for lights or anything and would be powerless in channel. One of the men worked for marina where I was docked. They ended up towing me to channel where in few days hole was punctured in boat and it eventually sank. Everything I had was on that boat and I was arrested then let go for abandoning boat I am on 100% disability

You've got to sue the slip owner for negligence, trespass, conversion (civil theft) and destruction of personal property. There may be other causes of action against hims such as assault, breach of contract etc. Call me to set up an appt. Good luck.
