Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

About Eviction

Our Landlady has suddenly been going out of her way to make it very uncomfortable for us to live in our current locale. She has recently started threatening to throw us outfor several cases where she believes we have not followed our Rental Agreement. She is threatening to Evict us, on grounds stating that we have filed false charges against other tenentants of our park, that we have violated vistor overnight Laws for our state, and that we have been neglecting/damaging rented property. I would like to know about California Apartment Laws on Grounds for Eviction of Teneants, and what actions we can take to contest her accusations.

Going through the body of work involving landlord and tenant law is daunting. You need an attorney to focus on specific issues. If you are subject to rent control, the law favors the tenant, if there is no rent control, the landlord has an advantage, but only slightly.
