Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

eviction notice

I need to know what form to use to respond to a unlawful detainer-eviction ? Also the new owner was suposed to let us pay rent before evicting us. But only gave us a 30 day notice , and did not give us an amount to pay.

Re: eviction notice

If you live in a city or county with rent stabilization laws, check with the rent stabilization board about whether you can be evicted.

You will want to file an answer to the unlawful detainer complaint within 5 days of your receipt of the complaint: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/982195.pdf .
