Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
are eviction notices legal if they are not filed with the court ? The landlord printed off the computer and signed it and had manager serve them but the proof of service is blank .

Proofs of service are always blank when served, if they are done properly. They can't fill out a proof of service until AFTER they serve you, right? So all that is filled out AFTER you get it.
