Eviction

I was served a Notice to Vacate from the Sherriff, However, I hadnt received any other postings or notices before this, what can I do to stop the eviction?

You would have to go to court to 1) stay eviction; 2) set aside default and default judgment based upon lack of service of an unlawful detainer. Best to hire a lawyer.

Typically, the court should have mailed a notice to you advising of the unlawful detainer because some process servers might serve a wrong address or claim the documents were served when, in fact, they were not. Good luck to you.
