Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

My ex-roommates have the mail box keys. They won't give me the keys unless I pay them $100. What can I do about this?

Report them to the US Postal authorities as that is probably a federal crime -- interfering with the US mail system. Tell your roommates first before making the report to give them one last chance.
