Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Hi I am from Fairfield California and my landlord is selling the house in sort sale and I've read the lease and she cant sell the house in sort sale. Also she is showing the house to people who are going to buy the house and they want me to show the people around the house. And my landlord cant show the house until the last 30 days of our lease. What actions can I do or what can I sou her for?

I would be surprised that any lease prohibited a short sale, as it makes no sense why it would, nor that the house can not be shown until the last thirty days of the lease. The only reason to do so would be to reassure you that your lease would not be ended before the agreed to date, but that is true whether or not those provisions exist.

You need to show the entire lease to an attorney to see what the restrictions are and what actions you actually can take.
