Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My family has rented a room in our house to a family friend for a reasonable price. He works during night. I noticed few times recently he knew about the family matters we talked among us when he is not around. Now I am sure he is recording. I am totally ok about video recording his room. But I dont like he is listening to the Audio. Is it illegal for him to record our voice, since we do not enter his room?

Any recording of any conversation without the consent of everyone whose voices are recorded is illegal, period. (Government recording with a warrant excepted of course).
