Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

How do I file a suit in small claims court against the company that managed the apartment complex that I lived in? I know how to file this against a single person, but not someone who is part of a business. I know the address and the name the property manager, who I did the original lease agreement with, but I do not know if this is how I go about doing it. I live in the stage of California.

You need to be sure you even really should be suing the management company. For most purposes they are just the agent of the owner, so the owner, whether a person or company, may really be whom you need to sue. You should repost with some information about what your case is about and then ask who should be the defendant and how to locate them.
