Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My friend was renting a house and the landlord went into foreclosure. The house was finally auctioned off and now the new owner is giving her a 30 day notice to leave. Is this legal? What rights does she have.

No she if she is on a month to month lease she has 90 days, if she has a written lease then it is generally until the end of the lease.
