Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
my friend is stayin with me, my husband, and kids..she's givin us $400 a month since october... she is not on the rental lease..i want her to leave now but she's not goin.. can i have a police officer remove her from my home or do i have to follow some kind of legal proceedings to do so?

You have to give her 30-days notice. Then you can have the police remove her. You do not have to do an eviction, since she is the only person you rent a room to.
