Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I gave my tenant 24 hrs notice that I want to show the property to a prospective tenant. She is refusing stating that she paid her rent for the month and the place is hers for the month. What are my rights from here?

Unless you have a contract that allows such, you have no right to interfere with your tenant's right for quite enjoyment. If you do have an agreement that allows such showings and your tenant fails to comply, then you may sue for breach of contract if you loose your prospective tenant due to inability to show.
