Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I am a guest staying at my friends house where 2 other tenants reside, i guess it is subleased. Well the house was i believe forclosed and is under new owners and they have asked me to move out. They said i am not allowed to use the kitchen so they were going to block me from using that. Can they do this to me even though im only a guest? Isn't there a legal way of doing this.

As a guest, you have no legal rights. Why should you, as you do not pay any rent. The tenant who invited you in probably has a lease which does not provide for long term guests to be there. The more people in a unit, the more the utilities are used. more wear and tear, etc. Since you have no legal standing to be there, there is no legla process that the owners must follow to remove you.
