Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

harrasment

I ve been facing a kind of harrassment from somebody in my apartment building. This person has been tampering with my car now for a long time. It started with a tampered lock of my car its toyoyta camry 97 ..then scrath on the driver side door . .then theft of my car wheel cover . .a mans belt lying on top of my windshield and today cutting of two tyres of my car which costed me 200 dollars. I complained to manager in the start but no action was taken by him.He just joked about it and let go .There is no security in our building and my request to put a camera in parking has also gone deaf ears. .Now I'm scared and don't know what to do . .Should I go to police? I'm both mentally stressed and also loosing money .

Re: harrasment

This is certainly quite scary. I'm not sure where you live, and it may make a difference about how much help you can get from the police. But, I think this is a situation where you might want to think about hiring a private detective to try to figure out who's behind it all.

Although I practice in Georgia, I am also a member of the California Bar, so your question was forwarded to me. You may reply with further information at [email protected].
