Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Harrassment

My manager knocks at my door, if I

don't answer she will look into my

window and come back and keep on

knocking and ringing the doorbell. I

went ahead and opened the door and

she forced her leg and foot in and she

would not let me close my door. I said

move your foot she said, No. I finally

closed the door and called the police.

She proceeded to take all the items i

had on my back entrance and she

hauled out all my items into the side

walk to the side of our apartments.

What are my rights? There is more but

at least answer part of this for me

please!

Re: Harrassment

She definitely is out of bounds. She is violating the implied covenant of quiet enjoyment that is part of your written lease agreement and your right to privacy. Since this is a manager, I would notify the owner in writing that this is unacceptable and must stop.
