Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Jacuzzi Rules

I live in a Townhome complex with

a common pool and jacuzzi. Small

children 1,3, 5 years old are using

the jacuzzi although there is a sign

that the minimum age is 16 years.

Question can an Association make

up any age limit or are there laws

which would not allow children

under a certain age to use the

jacuzzi due to some health risk?

Re: Jacuzzi Rules

A homeowner's Association (HOA) does have the right to make rules and regulations regarding the premises. They are like their own little police force.

What they have done is proper, if such regulation is listed in the C.C.R.'s.

Take this up with the appropriate committee at your next HOA meeting.
