Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Hello my name is josh.

My wife and I with 2 kids looking at leasing a property ( house) for 1 year in california that had a previous suicide about 8 months age that was disclosed to me. If I have any problems caused by this death while I am in the home do I have any legal rights to break the lease ?

Probably not. You have already been told of the suicide and have made up your mind that it will not bother you enough to prevent you from renting; you can not then change your mind. How will the lnadlord know that is the reason you have changed your mind and not because the rent is too high, etc.
