won judgment 3 times tenants keep filing appeals to stall, I just filed an opposition to their last law and motion appeal, the paper was called oppositon not to vacate jugdment. It was filed with the court. They , the court clerk/law librian did not say it had to be mailed to plaintiffs, did it?

Since the title of the document you filed is not one I have ever seen before, I can't tell you for sure if what you did was correct or not. Your filing probably should have been an Opposition to Defendant's Motion to Vacate Judgment, and yes, it should have been served on the opposing party.
