Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
my landlord is coming tomorrow to do a walk thru with an eviction specialist. i owe last months rent and am waiting for money from my fathers estate which should be here anytime. she gave me a 30 day notice to leave about one week ago. now she says she is putting a lien on m sons corvette which is paid for. he and m daughter are on the lease. Will he have to sell his car?

She can't place a lien on the car. First she has to get a judgment. Without a judgment she cannot engage in collection type activities such as placing a lien.
