My landlord gave me a 30 day notice, then two weeks later accepted another month's rent. Does this cancel his notice?

Yes, by accepting the rent he is agreeing to your living there for that month's time, which does not end until after the time period for the 30 day notice. When two statements or act are conflicting, the later one would control in these circumstances. Be sure to advise him in writing before the 30 day notice time expires that his accepting the new 30 days return his effort to evict you in made null.
