Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My landlord made a mistake and provided me with the wrong information. I need copies to prove my case and take this to court. Is there a way to make him give me those copies legally? And If he says he no longer has those copies (they did not need signatures although they should be in my file)?

Depends on the court... Small claims does not have discovery... Regular civil matter has discovery but case is filed first
