My landlord has a PO box

My landlord has a PO box. Is that legal? cause if I have to take him to court how will the marshalls serve the papers?.........thanks

You can make a written request to the post office for the name and address of the boxholder, if you provide certain information under 39 CRF �265.6(d)(4)(ii): 1) Capacity of requestor (Plaintiff); 2) Statute that allows you to serve process (See Code of Civil Procedure); 3) The names of all parties to the litigation; 4) The court in which the case will be heard; 5) The case number; 6) The capacity of the individual to be served (Defendant). Of course, give your name and address. Then date and sign the request, and print your name legibly. At the bottom, put lines for the PO to fill in the boxholder's name and street address.
